What this simulator models
YES/NO contracts, finite order-book depth, market and limit orders, partial fills, cash and share reserves, position cost, hypothetical fees and binary payout. Prices and final results come from a seeded teaching generator; the news is a reading exercise, not a validated predictive model.
Actual Polymarket rules, interfaces, liquidity, fees and regional eligibility can differ. This practice does not reproduce all platform order types, queue priority, cancellation races, disputes, on-chain settlement or latency. Review official documentation for the specific venue before using it.
